T-Pelvis _ lumbar_sacroilliac posterior

13 September 2018Articulated Tensegrities, Pelvis, Tensegrity BiomimicryNiyousha Saedi

This is a model of the pelvis combined with a Proto type spine from 2004. The pelvis is a crude approximation of How force vectors in the pelvis operate and I found a way  to connect it to rudimentary spine. This spine was an early attempt to utilize stellated tetrahedrons as individual vertebrae that were then linked together with tensioned ‘saddle slings’ to form a tensegrity mast. Later models of the pelvis became more realistic.
